Toby Gerhart or Frank Gore this year?

    Every year Frank Gore out plays his ADP as he gets downgraded because he's getting old or has too much competition. I think I'll stick with Gore until that actually happens (which, I have to admit, should be anytime, right?).

    I am on the fence. Gerharts film doesnt look great. Has ok vision, has strength, but takes a long time to build speed. Can he hold up to a 300 carry season because that's what he needs to warrant his skyrocketing ADP. If I can wait a round later and get Gore I would rather do that. More value.

    I'm leaning towards Gerhart. I just think this is the year where they really start to lessen his carries with a supposedly healthy Lattimore back. I don't feel he'll be a stable No. 1 running back this year, IMO.. Gore has proven a lot of people wrong too though. lol Good luck

    In redrafts - I'd flip a coin, both could easily crack the top 12 RBs this season. Dynasty/Keeper - probably go with Gerhart on the cheap.

    Gerhart has less injury concerns but the JAC offense isn't as good as SF's. Also, if you believe that Storm Johnson/Denard Robinson will cut into carries then that should have an impact as well (I don't because Storm Johnson isn't that good and Denard is better than him but not better than Gerhart)

    Gore has been a workhorse and has been one of, if not, the best value RBs you can get at his ADP during the last few years. But will injuries and a timeshare ultimately catch up to him? Will we see Kendall Hunter/Marcus Lattimore/Carlos Hyde/Lamichael James?

    Gore over Gerhart, ....but just one more year. Final contract year with the Niners.
