My boy Chris Colabello leading the AL in RBIs and Dee Gordon hitting .369, thus far.

What about the only player in MLB who is on pace for a 40-40 season? That's Brian Dozier of Minnesota, for those keeping score at home. Of course, when you are batting in the .220s, no one notices. Obviously 40-40 is not sustainable, but to be on that pace that with his batting average (and an OBP of .356, which helps to explain it) suggests that it is not just a fluke. He could certainly go 20-30, which is outstanding for a middle infielder.

On the negative side, I will go with Miguel Cabrera. A slow start on power isn't that surprising, but his low average is pretty shocking. This is his first month hitting below .275 since July 2011.

I <3 Brian Dozier. He's also on pace for 170 runs (Twins record is 140). The only reason I wouldn't have put him on this list is he flashed a lot of skill with the stick last year. But, you're right, he has shown a ton of improvement this year - I like it!
