Injured Players in NBA Optimal lineups

I am fairly new to NBA Fantasy, so maybe I am missing something. When do teams announce their starting lineups and injury reports? In the NFL it is typically 90 minutes before kickoff.

I ask because I checked the optimal lineups on Friday about 5 minutes before the 7:00 games started and ended up with Rondo (7:30 tip) and Kevin Love (8:00 tip) in my Draftkings lineup.

Was this a case of last second scratches made by the teams that didn't come out until after 7:00? Is this typical of the NBA?

Hi Steve, we update our optimal lineups throughout the day and right until tip off of the first game based on injury news that comes in.

For the NBA, there are a lot of late scratches and injuries that don't get reported until after the roster lock time. This is even more prevalent at the end of the season. With DraftKings however, you should be able to make late swaps when you notice a player is not going to play.

Gotcha, Thanks. I am probably done with NBA dailys because of this. I don't have the time to keep up with all those late scratches as it is right on top of getting kids to bed. MLB has proven to be more lucrative anyhow.
