Jennifer Siefferman
Julio Jones and Owen Daniels?
So naturally, I wind up with two of my players injured. I know the news about Julio says he's pretty much done but should I wait to drop him until confirmed? Currently, I have Antonio Brown, Victor Cruz as my main WR. I also have Brian Hartline and Terrance Williams but I really need another better WR. I know it will be impossible to get a WR1 without sacrificing someone else though. What are your thoughts about Vincent Brown. I know he's not quite there yet but I've heard he could blow up this season.

In regards to Owens Daniels, I know they said he could be out anywhere from 4-6 weeks and I fortunately picked up Garrett Graham but do I drop Owen Daniels so I can pick up another player entirely?

    As a chargers fan, I would rather pick up Keenen Allen than Vincent Brown. Allen has shown much more explosiveness and speed than Vincent Brown. As for dropping Julio, i would try to sneak a trade with someone first. If you can't sneak one by someone in your league this week, then drop him next week(once its confirmed he is out).

    I also just picked up Garrett Graham(although didnt have daniels) and think he will be a beast. Daniels is expected to be out 4-6 weeks, but seems like something that he would rather wait till he is 100% to come back from. Do you think someone will snatch up Daniels right away if you drop him? If not then go ahead and do it

    I debated on Keenen Allen as well. I'm weighing the options. I might try to sneak a trade with Julio but I doubt anyone in my league would go for it.

    Whoops. And as for dropping Owen Daniels, someone might try. We have a couple people who could use a decent TE based on their teams.

    I don't think trying to trade Julio could really hurt you here. Also, seems like your league is fairly deep(big bench+lots of teams) if the best receiver is Vincent Brown. That being said, unless you can pick up someone really worthwhile i wouldnt drop Daniels

    We have a 10 person league with six on the bench. So needless to say, I'm slightly worried about the prospects on even finding anyone to consider a permanent WR on my line up.

    People i like most on that list WR-wise: Austin Pettis(most targets on that offense this year), Nate Washington(who else are they gonna throw to?), Keenen Allen(best WR on that team right now).

    I think Cruz and Brown are a fair starting point. V.Brown does have good upside if you can get him easily. T.Williams is probably your next best guy but will probably drop a lot once Austin comes back. Maybe you could trade him to somebody for another prospect.
    Regarding Daniels, I dropped him myself...if he won't be around until week 10 or later, I need somebody else more. Plus Houston's passing game seems to be just falling apart. Garrett should be an OK fill in but maybe make some other long-term plans.

    I can pick up Brown now if I wanted. I have Tavon Austin waiting in the wings too, thought I know he hasn't done much. I'm tempted to drop him and pick V.Brown up. I'm thinking that I may offer a trade to the girl in my league who has M.Austin considering his long history with injury and swing it that direction..
