Roethlisberger got dumped onto waivers

Yep, Roethlisberger is available on the waiver wire. My 2 QBs are Cam Newton and Fitz. I'm thinking of dumping Fitz for Roethlisberger since I'm 2 games up in my division and feel like I'll be in the fantasy playoffs, and he'll be back by then. Should I waste my top slot in the waiver order on this? Or use it to replace an injured Donnie Avery (concussion)?
