Tampa Bay Buccaneers

How will Josh Freeman do this season?
Asked in: Quarterbacks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

1Daniel Okopnyi
I'll put it like this, an intense sleeper with the know how and weapons to be a tier 2 qb easily. I picked him up in the 9th in most of my leagues (after the tier 1's were gone). I think he will surprise us this season. In other words: Over 4,000 yards, over 300 Completions, 40 TDs.

Do you think Josh Freeman is overrated or underrated?
Asked in: Quarterbacks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

0Johnny Hewitt
Overrated after last season, but he'll have a good year nonetheless.

Who is a better draft pick: Reggie Wayne or Mike Williams (TB)?
Asked in: Reggie Wayne, Mike Williams (TB), Wide Receivers, Indianapolis Colts, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

0Kurt Diehl
Reggie Wayne is the more proven, but Colts have more mouths to feed. MWTB is on a younger team and only has 1 year behind him. Normally you want to go with the proven talent, but it all comes down to what pick you are looking at these two players at. MWTB is going on an average around round 4 and Wayne is going around round 2, so you could really have both depending on your league.

Who is a better draft pick: Hakeem Nicks or Mike Williams (TB)?
Asked in: Hakeem Nicks, Mike Williams (TB), Wide Receivers, New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

0Tom Becker
This is tough, but I really like Mike Williams. I think he'll produce similar to last year but on a more consistent basis as Tampa continues to improve.

Who is a better draft pick: Mike Williams (TB) or Miles Austin?
Asked in: Mike Williams (TB), Miles Austin, Wide Receivers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys

3Nick Tomaino
Miles Austin is the more solid pick for sure. Theres a lot of hype on Mike Williams right now and he is certainly a rising star, but Miles Austin has proven his worth over a few years now, particularly when Romo is healthy. Miles is supported by a more solid cast all around and I think you are sure to get a return on your investment with Miles. Mike Williams is definitely more of a gamble.

Who is a better draft pick: Mike Williams (TB) or DeSean Jackson?
Asked in: Mike Williams (TB), DeSean Jackson, Wide Receivers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles

0Tom Becker
Mike Williams. He's more consistent and potentially a better talent. DeSean scares me

Who is a better draft pick: Mike Williams (TB) or Terrell Owens?
Asked in: Mike Williams (TB), Wide Receivers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cincinnati Bengals

0Ashley Sanders
Until TO actually signs somewhere, I think this has gotta be Mike Williams.

Who is a better draft pick: Josh Freeman or Matt Ryan?
Asked in: Josh Freeman, Matt Ryan, Quarterbacks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Atlanta Falcons

0Keith Goldner
Matt Ryan, although I think Freeman has the better upside because of his running abilities.

Who is a better draft pick: Josh Freeman or Eli Manning?
Asked in: Josh Freeman, Eli Manning, Quarterbacks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Giants

1Mike Ecker
Eli by a long shot....Eli is already a super bowl MVP ...freeman has not even been to the playoffs

Who is a better draft pick: Josh Freeman or Matt Schaub?
Asked in: Josh Freeman, Matt Schaub, Quarterbacks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Houston Texans

3Sean Weinstock
Yeah, agreed. Houston will actually be good this year. And that Schaub --> Johnson punch is going to be nasty.

Who is a more exciting player: Mike Williams (TB) or Jeremy Maclin?
Asked in: Mike Williams (TB), Jeremy Maclin, Wide Receivers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles

1Shannon Jones
Mike Williams is more exciting, he will make big play and more difficult catches.

Who is a more exciting player: Mike Williams (TB) or DeSean Jackson?
Asked in: Mike Williams (TB), DeSean Jackson, Wide Receivers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles

0Aaron Jackson
DeSean is the more exciting player, exciting is his middle name. Williams is the better pick.

Who is a more exciting player: Kellen Winslow Jr. or Aaron Hernandez?
Asked in: Aaron Hernandez, Tight Ends, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots

0Aaron Jackson
Kellen Winslow is a soldier. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I82BPA5QAaQ

Who is a more exciting player: Kellen Winslow Jr. or Brandon Pettigrew?
Asked in: Brandon Pettigrew, Tight Ends, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Detroit Lions

0Aaron Rodriguez
I would say Pettigrew. While Winslow might be the "safer" bet, I like Pettigrew's upside a lot more. As long as Stafford stays healthy, Pettigrew will be a RZ threat all year, while Winslow continues to be a constant injury concern week to week, and Freeman is only getting more accustomed to throwing the ball to his WRs, rather than TEs.

Who is a more exciting player: Jahvid Best or LeGarrette Blount?
Asked in: Jahvid Best, LeGarrette Blount, Running Backs, Detroit Lions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

0Christopher M Davis
Blount! Hurdling for the win. Every time. Nothing like watching a guy wither in front of Blount and go for the legs only to have Blount literally run over the would be tackler. The Bucs are worth watching for Josh Freeman, but reason number 1.2 is Blount's ridiculous athleticism. Not the fastest dude on the field, but when you can levitate, you don't have to be.

Who is a more exciting player: LeGarrette Blount or Thomas Jones?
Asked in: LeGarrette Blount, Thomas Jones, Running Backs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Kansas City Chiefs

0Keith Goldner
Blount. Everyone seems to think he is primed for a huge year (as long as he doesn't throw any punches).

Who is a more exciting player: LeGarrette Blount or Michael Bush?
Asked in: LeGarrette Blount, Michael Bush, Running Backs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Oakland Raiders

0Tom Becker
LeGarrette is poised for a huge year. Bush will take the back seat until McFadden gets hurt.

Is Mike Williams (TB) a top tier WR?
Asked in: Mike Williams (TB), Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Wide Receivers

0Nik Bonaddio
I think he is. Very little in terms of competition for targets in Tampa Bay, plus Josh Freeman is an above-average starter. I have him in my top 10, for sure.

Should I start Josh Freeman or Eli Manning?
Asked in: Josh Freeman, Eli Manning, Quarterbacks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Giants

0Daniel Okopnyi
I would start Josh Freeman. The matchup is good and he was doing damn well last year. Eli Manning has the curse of the interception virus. Start Freeman, especially if your league penalizes hard for interceptions.

Who should I start? Ahmad Bradshaw or Blount?
Asked in: Ahmad Bradshaw, LeGarrette Blount, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Giants

0Ron Hogsett
I like both here, but I rather go up against Washington's defense rather than Detroit's, therefore I vote Bradshaw. Aside from the defenses they'll be seeing, I think both would put up similar numbers.

Who to start in the flex spot, Matt Forte (vs. ATL) or LeGarrette Blount (vs. DET)?
Asked in: Matt Forte, LeGarrette Blount, Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Detroit Lions

1Bo Busch
I would roll with Forte this week. He is going to get the carries and the looks through the passing game. I think they will be down so Forte is in for a solid week 1.

Are you worried about LeGarrette Blount after Week 1?
Asked in: Josh Freeman, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, LeGarrette Blount

2Anthony Best
Can't say worried just upset that he didn't do a thing this week! but not much u can do as a rb when your teams allows themselves to get that far behind in a game.

Week 4 Start, which 2?: Mario Manningham, Mike Williams (TB) or Eric Decker
Asked in: Mario Manningham, Mike Williams (TB), New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

0Steve Morris
They're all the same guy, but I think Manningham has the biggest chance to score.

Reggie Wayne or Mike Williams (TB)
Asked in: Reggie Wayne, Mike Williams (TB), Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Indianapolis Colts

0Sean Weinstock
That's a pretty steep request at this point. My gut tells me Indy isn't doing a lot tonight, just cuz they haven't done a lot the whole year. I'd go with Williams.

Whats going on with Mike Williams (TB)
Asked in: Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Mike Williams (TB)

0Anthony Best
I can't say for sure. But, the games I have seen he just looks like he's playing lazy and not really trying.. It's also the plays that the Offensive cord. is calling.. It just seems like they are looking to move the chains and use up clock instead of big plays! just my opinion!!

Who to start in a standard league - Jahvid Best or Earnest Graham?
Asked in: Jahvid Best, Earnest Graham, Running Backs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Detroit Lions

3Anthony Best
Earnest Graham vs. NO!! SF is best against RB's so far.. And they have the speed to cover Best in the flats as well.

Quick question.....Texans/D vs Ravens or Saints/D vs Bucs????
Asked in: Houston D/ST, Baltimore Ravens, New Orleans D/ST, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

0Anthony Best
I would go with Saints.. Ravens have had a whole week to prepare for Texans, plus Shaub is real beat up right now and without Johnsons.. Jones is not good enough to cover in his absence

Do you think it's a good idea that the NFL is having games in London?
Asked in: Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Mike Williams (TB), Chicago Bears, Matt Forte, Jay Cutler

0Sean Weinstock
I think any cultural imposition on the British is the least we could do after that whole colonization thing...too soon? But seriously, they're thinking about a permanent team in London - not sure how they'd play West Coast teams unless it's in a neutral stadium.

Is Mike Williams (TB) worth a play over V-Jax, Jordy, or Dez B?
Asked in: Mike Williams (TB), Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Vincent Jackson, Jordy Nelson, Dez Bryant, San Diego Chargers, Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys

1Eric Cantor
Tough one. I've struggled to get Williams into the action all season and never gotten good output from him. TB is too erratic. Jordy Nelson and Vincent Jackson are huge parts of their offense and seem to always get the targets, so I would keep Williams for a rainy day. Kind of disappointing given his talent level.

Which Tightend do I start?
Asked in: Brent Celek, Vernon Davis, Kellen Winslow, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Tight Ends

0Anthony Best
man between these guys I don't know. I would lean towards Winslow since Dallas gives up more points to TE's than the teams other players are facing.
