Philadelphia Eagles

How will Lesean McCoy do this season?
Asked in: Running Backs, Philadelphia Eagles

0Bob Reed
He'll have a great year, even with the addition of Ronnie Brown. Perfect for an Andy Reid offense.

How will Michael Vick do this season?
Asked in: Quarterbacks, Philadelphia Eagles

0Stacy Robert Reagan
There will be some weeks this year that he will put up enough Fantasy points to win the game all by himself... and there will be some weeks he does not play...

Do you think Lesean McCoy is overrated or underrated?
Asked in: Running Backs, Philadelphia Eagles

0Johnny Hewitt
Underrated, he is a huge talent especially in the passing game.

Do you think Michael Vick is overrated or underrated?
Asked in: Quarterbacks, Philadelphia Eagles

0Tom Becker
Overrated after last year. He can't put up those numbers again and his numbers declined in the second half of the season. He's still a beast but he'll regress to the mean.

Who is a better draft pick: Chris Johnson or Lesean McCoy?
Asked in: Chris Johnson, Lesean McCoy, Running Backs, Tennessee Titans, Philadelphia Eagles

0Tom Becker
Chris Johnson. McCoy is getting there but he doesn't have the ridiculous speed that Johnson has.

Who is a better draft pick: Darren McFadden or Lesean McCoy?
Asked in: Darren McFadden, Lesean McCoy, Running Backs, Oakland Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles

1Matthew H
I like McFadden because it's pretty obvious that the Raiders are making commitment to both him and the run game as a whole. Looking at last season's game log, it's pretty clear that DMC was an 18-20 carry/game type of player, plus receptions, whereas McCoy is more of a 12-15 carry/game type of player. This is not a negligible difference, as I believe a healthy DMC will get 50 more carries (not touches) over the course of an entire season (say maybe 225 for LeSean, 275 for McFadden). Plus, it also bothers me about McCoy that so much of his production came via dumpoffs, which is nice, but is not something that is a good bet to be repeated.

Who is a better draft pick: Rashard Mendenhall or Lesean McCoy?
Asked in: Rashard Mendenhall, Lesean McCoy, Running Backs, Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles

0Keith Goldner
I like McCoy (especially in PPR) but there is slight concern with Ronnie Brown in Philadelphia. You pretty much know what you're going to get with Mendenhall.

Who is a better draft pick: Lesean McCoy or Michael Turner?
Asked in: Lesean McCoy, Michael Turner, Running Backs, Philadelphia Eagles, Atlanta Falcons

1Tom Becker
McCoy for sure in a PPR league but in a normal one I'd have to go with Turner. He'll score more than McCoy does.

Who is a better draft pick: Lesean McCoy or Matt Forte?
Asked in: Lesean McCoy, Matt Forte, Running Backs, Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears

1Johnny Hewitt
Forte, but they are similar players. I would take anyone in the high-flying Eagles offense.

Who is a better draft pick: Lesean McCoy or Ray Rice?
Asked in: Lesean McCoy, Ray Rice, Running Backs, Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens

4Daniel Okopnyi
Hands down Ray Rice. I don't even think we need to discuss why.

Who is a better draft pick: Aaron Rodgers or Michael Vick?
Asked in: Aaron Rodgers, Michael Vick, Quarterbacks, Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles

2Ron Hogsett
The numbers say Rodgers, my emotion says Vick. Rodgers also brings less risk (as far as injuries are concerned) to your portfolio than Vick does. In reviewing last year's numbers, both were similar average in yards/completion, average yards/game and average passing attempts/game. With similar numbers but with Rodgers being slightly more accurate and less of a risk, Rodgers would be a better pick over Vick.

Who is a better draft pick: Michael Vick or Peyton Manning?
Asked in: Michael Vick, Peyton Manning, Quarterbacks, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts

0Tom Becker
Depends on the league. Manning is the poster child of consistency whereas Vick is the high risk high reward man. I'm more of a fan of Manning just because you know for sure what you are getting, but no one can argue with either guy.

Who is a better draft pick: Michael Vick or Philip Rivers?
Asked in: Michael Vick, Philip Rivers, Quarterbacks, Philadelphia Eagles, San Diego Chargers

0walid khwaja
I disagree though with most answers here that Rivers should go 1st in the draft. I don't think there is any QB that can put up the numbers that Vick does on a weekly basis.

Who is a better draft pick: Reggie Wayne or Jeremy Maclin?
Asked in: Reggie Wayne, Jeremy Maclin, Wide Receivers, Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles

1Richard Dean
Without knowing Maclin's health status, I would say Wayne. If Maclin plays, not sure on how Manning's neck will do over the season and considering Wayne's age, I would go with Maclin.

Who is a better draft pick: Reggie Wayne or DeSean Jackson?
Asked in: Reggie Wayne, DeSean Jackson, Wide Receivers, Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles

0Ashley Sanders
Hmm, this one is a good question. I think I'd rather have Reggie Wayne because I prefer consistency, but I think DeSean probably has more upside.

Who is a better draft pick: Hakeem Nicks or Jeremy Maclin?
Asked in: Hakeem Nicks, Jeremy Maclin, Wide Receivers, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles

0Bob Reed
Nicks seems to be the man in New York. Maclin has too many issues around him right now.

Who is a better draft pick: Mike Williams (TB) or DeSean Jackson?
Asked in: Mike Williams (TB), DeSean Jackson, Wide Receivers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles

0Tom Becker
Mike Williams. He's more consistent and potentially a better talent. DeSean scares me

Who is a better draft pick: Miles Austin or Jeremy Maclin?
Asked in: Miles Austin, Jeremy Maclin, Wide Receivers, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles

2jason tarlowe
Miles Austin, project his numbers out every year he played to 16 game season. And remember Romo loves him especially for TDs, his numbers went down with Kitna in (who leaned on the TE). Maclin's ceiling is lower than Miles's, and his floor is lower if his mono-type illness lingers.

Who is a better draft pick: Miles Austin or DeSean Jackson?
Asked in: Miles Austin, DeSean Jackson, Wide Receivers, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles

0Keith Goldner
I hate to say it, but I think Austin. Austin is a more consistent receiver and will produce week in and week out. DeSean is a big play guy who will win you a week or two, but his inconsistency is his downfall.

Who is a better draft pick: Jeremy Maclin or Terrell Owens?
Asked in: Jeremy Maclin, Wide Receivers, Philadelphia Eagles, Cincinnati Bengals

0Keith Goldner
Maclin for sure (despite his undisclosed illness), however, T.O. is a great pick-up late because if he signs somewhere, he'll produce no matter what.

Who is a better draft pick: Jeremy Maclin or Larry Fitzgerald?
Asked in: Jeremy Maclin, Larry Fitzgerald, Wide Receivers, Philadelphia Eagles, Arizona Cardinals

1Andrew Hunn
Fitz is going to be a beast this year. He's upgraded at QB and Maclin is having health issues.

Who is a more exciting player: Lesean McCoy or Ray Rice?
Asked in: Lesean McCoy, Ray Rice, Running Backs, Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens

0Tom Becker
I would say McCoy is more exciting, but Ray Rice is the better player right now

Who is a more exciting player: Aaron Rodgers or Michael Vick?
Asked in: Aaron Rodgers, Michael Vick, Quarterbacks, Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles

4Nate Tharp
Vick is the most athletic player in the league. But it doesn't get much better than watching Rodgers surgically pick apart defenses and toss up 40 points.

Who is a more exciting player: Michael Vick or Philip Rivers?
Asked in: Michael Vick, Philip Rivers, Quarterbacks, Philadelphia Eagles, San Diego Chargers

2David Romero
Vick is def. more exciting. I'll take Vick any day of the week over Rivers especially with Philly's squad!

Who is a more exciting player: Mike Williams (TB) or Jeremy Maclin?
Asked in: Mike Williams (TB), Jeremy Maclin, Wide Receivers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles

1Shannon Jones
Mike Williams is more exciting, he will make big play and more difficult catches.

Who is a more exciting player: Mike Williams (TB) or DeSean Jackson?
Asked in: Mike Williams (TB), DeSean Jackson, Wide Receivers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles

0Aaron Jackson
DeSean is the more exciting player, exciting is his middle name. Williams is the better pick.

Who is a more exciting player: Tony Romo or Vince Young?
Asked in: Tony Romo, Vince Young, Quarterbacks, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles

0Kyle Foreman
With this year's weapons he's an easy top 10 QB. I'd rather deal with the injury risk then deal with Flacco, Ryan, Freeman, Schaub, etc.

Who is a more exciting player: Vince Young or Tim Tebow?
Asked in: Vince Young, Tim Tebow, Quarterbacks, Philadelphia Eagles, Denver Broncos

0Tom Becker
Both are extremely exciting backup QBs, I'd go with Vince though, especially in the Eagles system. Vick will go down and he'll get a chance to strut his stuff.

Vick has been going early in some drafts and while we all see the upside there is the danger of injury as well as the fact that some defenses seemed to figure him out late last year... where would you draft Vick?
Asked in: Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles, Quarterbacks

7walid khwaja
Depending on your strategy (I would always pick a top RB over a QB) Vick should be the 1st QB to go. I understand his chances of getting injured are prob higher then most QB's but he will consistently get you top QB points every week.

Are you worried about Vick after the Steelers game?
Asked in: Philadelphia Eagles, DeSean Jackson, Lesean McCoy, Jeremy Maclin, Michael Vick

3walid khwaja
No! Everyone has a bad game sooner or later. Im just happy it came in the preseason and not when it counts.

Is Vick overpaid on his new contract? If the answer is yes, what does that say about Eli?
Asked in: Michael Vick, Eli Manning, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants

0Keith Goldner
I think so. Last year was an outlier and he's too fragile. He's a great player, but not worth more than a Philip Rivers.

How many points will Michael Vick put up in Week 1?
Asked in: Philadelphia Eagles, Quarterbacks, Michael Vick

0Daniel Okopnyi
That depends on your scoring and settings, he will be top of his game, but that's kind of hard to predict. Standard scoring? Minimum 20.

In a PPR league, who should I flex this week between Cedric Benson, Jeremy Maclin, or Mark Ingram?
Asked in: Cedric Benson, Jeremy Maclin, Mark Ingram, Cincinnati Bengals, Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints

1scott turecek
Benson is the play. Rookie QB needs to relay on the run and dump offs. Maclin is still coming back and ingram wont get many grabs until mid season

Can with the Eagles win without Vick?
Asked in: Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles, Lesean McCoy, Jeremy Maclin, DeSean Jackson

1Murphy Bug
As we saw last night, Mike Kafka can play in the NFL. He went 7-9 for 72 yards in an attempt to lead the Eagles back against the Falcons. Had it not been for Maclin dropping a perfect pass on fourth down, Kafka could have completed the comeback. Also, don't forget about Vince Young, whom Andy Reid says is at "almost 100%". The Eagles have not yet named a starter, but they have a pro-bowler in Young and a blossoming talent in Kafka. This is all assuming Vick doesn't start, which is only speculation at this point.

Can the Philadelphia Eagles win if Mike Kafka is starting?
Asked in: Philadelphia Eagles, Michael Vick, Vince Young

3Jd Dre
They can if DeSean and Maclin would catch balls that hit them in the hands! How many KEY drops did they have?

Fred Jackson or Ahmad Bradshaw
Asked in: Ahmad Bradshaw, Brandon Jacobs, Fred Jackson, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles

2Sean Weinstock
Yeah, I'm going with the algorithm on this one. My reasoning is that Jackson's playing New England while Bradshaw's playing the Eagles. Even if Jacobs gets some of the calls, I'm still thinking Bradshaw's a better call.

Is it time to drop the Eagles D?
Asked in: Philadelphia D/ST, Philadelphia Eagles, Defenses, Oakland D/ST, San Francisco D/ST

2Keith Goldner
I'm a fan of picking up defenses based on matchups unless you have one of the top 2 or 3 defenses (like Baltimore this year).

Maclin or Stevie Johnson?
Asked in: Jeremy Maclin, Steve Johnson, Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills

1Keith Goldner
As an Eagles fan, I like Maclin, but I think Stevie is the better start.

Mike Vick and Jimmy Graham for Tony Romo and Ray Rice
Asked in: Michael Vick, Tony Romo, Jimmy Graham, Ray Rice, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens, Quarterbacks, Running Backs, Tight Ends

1Keith Goldner
I don't like it unless you're desperate and have a suitable back up TE. Graham is winning leagues for people right now with his production at TE (think Antonio Gates) and Vick is a sell low.

Did DeSean Jackson break your software like he broke my fantay team?
Asked in: DeSean Jackson, Philadelphia Eagles

0Keith Goldner
Yeah, apparently our computer was so depressed by his performances it took him out. Thanks for spotting it, should be corrected shortly.

thoughts on riley cooper- can he be trusted?
Asked in: Riley Cooper, Seattle D/ST, Philadelphia Eagles, Vince Young

0Anthony Best
Hard to say on that team. He will get a lot of snaps, but you bnever know with Rookies or a team thats filled with talent

Which Tightend do I start?
Asked in: Brent Celek, Vernon Davis, Kellen Winslow, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Tight Ends

0Anthony Best
man between these guys I don't know. I would lean towards Winslow since Dallas gives up more points to TE's than the teams other players are facing.
