How will the Detroit Lions do this season?

The Detroit Lions are always terrible. There's just something about them that inhibits them from getting better. Not sure what it is, but I don't have a lot of confidence.

Lions and Texans in the playoffs this year?
Asked in: Detroit Lions, Detroit D/ST, Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson, Houston Texans, Houston D/ST, Matt Schaub, Arian Foster, Andre Johnson

I think the Lions will just miss a playoff spot, finishing behind GB in their division and Dallas and New Orleans for a Wild Card spot. I have a feeling the Texans, on the other hand, will win their division this year and make the playoffs.

If Stafford played 16 games, is he a top 10/top 5 qb?
Asked in: Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions, Detroit D/ST

2Keith Goldner
Maybe top 10, definitely not top 5. I think he'd fall between 10-15 after the Schaub/Ryan/Big Ben crew.

Who should be my 2 RB's for week one?
Asked in: Mario Manningham, Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Eli Manning, Reggie Bush, Thomas Jones, Brandon Jacobs, Ricky Williams, Todd Heap, Kellen Winslow, Eddie Royal, Chad Henne, Dan Carpenter, Detroit D/ST, Tampa Bay D/ST

Ugh.. You went way too heavy on your WR draft there amigo. RBs win leagues, even in PPR (there are RB's that receive too). Let's see.. Brandon Jacobs for sure, he is feeling good this week, and I like the matchup for him. I am not confident with Reggie Bush, or Ricky Williams.. and Jones? wow. I think Reggie Bush wins by default sir. Go Jacobs and Bush.

In my yahoo league what does the 3 under the waiver block mean for me?

It means you are third in waiver priority. So let's say you put in for a waiver for.. A better RB (judging by your current setup), and 1 other guy puts in a waiver for the same RB, if he is after you in the waiver priority you win when the waivers process (usually Wed at like 2 am PST or something), but if he is ahead of you in the waiver process, he wins the pick. If the waiver goes through, your waiver priority takes a hit and you are usually lowered a few digits. If it doesn't go through, you keep the same number or move up (if someone ahead of you uses a waiver pick). Waivers are unlimited, but if everyone is wanting the same pick, then it's in your best interests to keep your number at 3 or higher.

Which defense do I start this week?

Steelers is the easier choice. The only tough D's Cinci has faced is SF and they did not play well against them!

Detroit D or Steelers D?

Steelers D!! Cinci only Defensive challenge has been the 49ers who held Cinci down to 8 points.

Dallas, Detroit, or Denver defense?
Asked in: Dallas D/ST, Detroit D/ST, Denver D/ST, Defenses

0Tyler Crosby
Denver. Detroit's good, but SD is playing really well. And the Eagles are such headcases that you never know when they're going to go off, so I don't trust the Cowgirls.
