Atlanta Falcons

How will Michael Turner do this season?
Asked in: Running Backs, Atlanta Falcons

0Aaron Jackson
You can count on him for 1000 yards and 8-10 TDs.

How will Matt Ryan do this season?
Asked in: Quarterbacks, Atlanta Falcons

0Tom Becker
He continues to improve and impress. Expect 4,000 yds and 30 TDs.

Do you think Matt Ryan is overrated or underrated?
Asked in: Quarterbacks, Atlanta Falcons

0Bob Reed
Depends who you ask, ESPN's Total QBR love him right now because of his clutch performance last year, but the kid is good.

Who is a better draft pick: Brandon Lloyd or Roddy White?
Asked in: Brandon Lloyd, Roddy White, Wide Receivers, Denver Broncos, Atlanta Falcons

0Tom Becker
Roddy White, no doubt. Lloyd can't put up the same numbers as last year.

Who is a better draft pick: Darren McFadden or Michael Turner?
Asked in: Darren McFadden, Michael Turner, Running Backs, Oakland Raiders, Atlanta Falcons

0Aaron Jackson
I would say Turner, just because of his track record. Run DMC has huge upside but he is not as proven. You know what you're getting with Turner.

Who is a better draft pick: Rashard Mendenhall or Michael Turner?
Asked in: Rashard Mendenhall, Michael Turner, Running Backs, Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Falcons

0Bethany Brooks
Turner is perfect for hammering in TD's on the goal line. For fantasy, he picks up a lot of points in touchdowns as opposed to raw yardage. On the other hand, he often can have those break out runs. I would put my money on Turner over Mendenhall, who is better for the yardage, any day.

Who is a better draft pick: Lesean McCoy or Michael Turner?
Asked in: Lesean McCoy, Michael Turner, Running Backs, Philadelphia Eagles, Atlanta Falcons

1Tom Becker
McCoy for sure in a PPR league but in a normal one I'd have to go with Turner. He'll score more than McCoy does.

Who is a better draft pick: Michael Turner or Matt Forte?
Asked in: Michael Turner, Matt Forte, Running Backs, Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears

0PEJ
A lot of people really like Matt Forte this year - including numberFire's draft kit! - but Turner is my choice here. He's a really safe choice.

Who is a better draft pick: Michael Turner or Ray Rice?
Asked in: Michael Turner, Ray Rice, Running Backs, Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens

1Javed Dhanji
Ray Rice is definitely more explosive and a better pass catcher. But I feel Turner is on a better, more balanced offense and gets a full work load every game. Turner is a better fantasy draft pick.

Who is a better draft pick: Josh Freeman or Matt Ryan?
Asked in: Josh Freeman, Matt Ryan, Quarterbacks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Atlanta Falcons

0Keith Goldner
Matt Ryan, although I think Freeman has the better upside because of his running abilities.

Who is a better draft pick: Matt Ryan or Eli Manning?
Asked in: Matt Ryan, Eli Manning, Quarterbacks, Atlanta Falcons, New York Giants

0Keith Goldner
I think Matt Ryan, although fantasy-wise there's not a huge difference. Ryan is a better in-game QB though, the normal statistics just may not show it.

Who is a more exciting player: Darren McFadden or Michael Turner?
Asked in: Darren McFadden, Michael Turner, Running Backs, Oakland Raiders, Atlanta Falcons

0Johnny Hewitt
Turner, he plays in a much better offense and they looove to run the ball.

Who is a more exciting player: Rashard Mendenhall or Michael Turner?
Asked in: Rashard Mendenhall, Michael Turner, Running Backs, Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Falcons

0Jim R
Both are very exciting players! I think that I'd probably give a slight edge to Rashard Mendenhall though.

Who is a more exciting player: Roddy White or Greg Jennings?
Asked in: Roddy White, Greg Jennings, Wide Receivers, Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers

0Aaron Jackson
Gotta go with Greg; never know what will happen when A.Rod is throwing the ball. Well you do, the Packers will score.

Who is a more exciting player: Michael Turner or Matt Forte?
Asked in: Michael Turner, Matt Forte, Running Backs, Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears

1Keith Goldner
Forte, mostly because of his effect on the passing game. You know what you're getting from Turner every game and every down.

Who is a more exciting player: Tony Gonzalez or Dustin Keller?
Asked in: Tony Gonzalez, Dustin Keller, Tight Ends, Atlanta Falcons, New York Jets

0Johnny Hewitt
Old Man Gonzalez, unless it includes being lit up by Ray Lewis, then I would say Dustin.

Who is a more exciting player: Tony Gonzalez or Brandon Pettigrew?
Asked in: Tony Gonzalez, Brandon Pettigrew, Tight Ends, Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions

0Tom Becker
Right now, I would say Pettigrew. Stafford loves him as a receiver in Detroit and Gonzo is on the way down, mostly used for his blocking ability now.

Who to start in the flex spot, Matt Forte (vs. ATL) or LeGarrette Blount (vs. DET)?
Asked in: Matt Forte, LeGarrette Blount, Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Detroit Lions

1Bo Busch
I would roll with Forte this week. He is going to get the carries and the looks through the passing game. I think they will be down so Forte is in for a solid week 1.

What's up the Falcons? Was it a fluke, or the sign of something worse?
Asked in: Matt Ryan, Michael Turner, Roddy White, Atlanta Falcons

1Anthony Best
I am a little worried but they were never the best road team in the first place. their passion and skill only really shows up at home!! plus Ryan has played at Chicago. So I believe Matty Ice wasn't so cold and collected

Who to start Gaffney, McCluster, or Julio Jones?
Asked in: Jabar Gaffney, Julio Jones, Washington Redskins, Atlanta Falcons

0Keith Goldner
Oof. Out of those 3, I'd go Gaffney against Arizona.

Who is a greater risk: Ryan vs. Philadelphia (Home) or Cutler vs. New Orleans (Away)?
Asked in: Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia D/ST, Jay Cutler, Chicago Bears, New Orleans D/ST

0Keith Goldner
I think Cutler is the greater risk regardless of the matchup. He has some big weeks but tons of bust weeks too.

Who has more fantasy value this season, Julio Jones or Malcom Floyd
Asked in: San Diego Chargers, Atlanta Falcons, Malcom Floyd

1Adam Lee
I'm feeling Malcolm Floyd. He should get a good number of targets in a high-powered offense. Jones, at this point at least, seems to be serving the purpose of getting Roddy White more targets.

What are the chances that Roddy White sits out?
Asked in: Roddy White, Atlanta Falcons, Wide Receivers

0Sean Weinstock
The Falcons were always listing him as questionable last year, and he played every game for them. I wouldn't be too worried about it, but keep an eye on the status before the games tomorrow.

Should I start the Bears or the Falcons D today? Bears v Car, and Atl v Sea
Asked in: Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons

0Sean Weinstock
Even though Atl has been underperforming this year, I'd go with them against Seattle. The Seahawks are terrible.

Should I trade away Michael Turner to get Cam Newton?
Asked in: Michael Turner, Cam Newton, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers

1Mohan Sivaloganathan
I like that move. Cam has great upside for this year and next. It sounds like you have a similar injury issue at QB (who is the backup?), so why not go big?

Start Rodgers or Newton
Asked in: Aaron Rodgers, Cam Newton, Quarterbacks, Green Bay Packers, Atlanta Falcons

1Sean Weinstock
My hesitation here revolves around Atlanta. If they're able to turn it on and run like their offense is supposed to, this is going to be a shoot-out. But, they're missing Julio, so I don't know...I'd probably start Rodgers. Wouldn't care about the wind too much.

Roethlisberger or Matt Ryan
Asked in: Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons, Pittsburgh Steelers, Quarterbacks

0Anthony Best
Still say Ryan this week. Atl is not that great of a away team, they are much better at home, but Ben's thumb has obviously affected his play fantasy wise with not scoring more than 12 points in last 2 weeks. And Cin is still no slouch Defensively. Another reason I choose Ryan is cause of Hou unknown Qb situation. both Hou and Atl are good D's.

Atlanta Defense against Jax or Arizona against Browns? Not including Special Teams...
Asked in: Atlanta Falcons, Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals, Arizona D/ST, Cleveland D/ST, Jacksonville D/ST, Atlanta D/ST

0Anthony Best
I am kinda leaning towards Ari. Atl seems to have a lot of injuroes on Defensive side right now and they might be without 2 Cb this week.
