I'd go Turner. Atlanta has more weapons so they'll likely be able to move the ball consistently. It would give Turner more scoring chances. Detroit's D-Line is pretty good and TB doesn't have all the options the Falcons do, so they might only walk away with a pair of TD's.
I'd go Turner. I don't know what these other posts are about Blount. Ridiculous. He is pretty new and a sleeper, Turner is seasoned and a legit start. I don't think it's about the matchup at this point, especially in week 1. It's week 1. Remember, anything goes. But I HAVE HEARD they are doing committee with Blount, so go Turner.
I like Blount. Chicago had a top ten front 7 last year. Atlanta has two other attractive options stalking Turner for carries (Rodgers, Snelling). I see Blount getting more touches, and definitely getting the goal line carries. Detroit's d-line has looked impressive in the preseason thus far.
BLOUNT. Snelling will steal goal-line touches from Turner. Nobody in TB to steal them from Blount. Plus it looked like Blount was being used more in passing game in pre-season...expecting more touches. Tho Lions def will be much improved...I still like that matchup better than Falcon's on road at Soldier Field.
the bucs offense cant keep up with the falcons not the lions as paul said turner will outscore blount easily. Blount had 5 carries Week 1 when they were losing.
