Should I trade Cam Newton for Tom Brady and Chris Johnson? I am last place in 8 team league. My RBs are Benson, DMurray, LBlount,Hillis and Battle. Is Chris Johnson worth the headache?
This trade sounds like it's just what the doctor ordered for you. I wouldn't worry for a second about giving Newton for Brady. I'm actually more confident in Brady from here on out. Two points about the Chris Johnson part. First, there's maybe a 5%-10% chance that he pulls himself out of the slump and you're golden. Second, you can afford to just bench him in the meantime (or indefinitely) because you have a decent lineup of RBs to choose from already.On the other hand, you could package one or more of those RBs in the deal to make it sweeter and try to procure a top 10 RB. Johnson not worth it. Brady is worth it. In last place you have nothing to lose. But Keep in mind Cam puts up about 30 points a game. While in last few weeks Brady and CJ get close to that combined! I don't mind your Rb's. Maybe try and get a good WR out of this trade.
