Who is a better draft pick: Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers?
Asked in: Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Quarterbacks, New England Patriots, Green Bay Packers

Although, technically, time will only tell, I'm gunna go ahead and say Brady...Good luck catching up to that laundry list of achievements Rodgers...

Draft theory: 12 Man and 6 point passer TD
Asked in: Adrian Peterson, Arian Foster, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady

1Keith Goldner
In a 6-point pass TD league the top tier of QBs improve. While RBs may still be the value picks in the beginning, it's more important in this kind of league to get one of the top 5 guys: Rodgers, Manning, Brees, Rivers, Brady. Because of the pass TD totals, they separate themselves a little more from the Ryan/Flacco types. Schaub could go either way. Check out the draft kit to see how the overall ranks are affected by 6-pt pass TDs. That should give you a good idea of the positions relative value.

How early is too early to draft a QB?
Asked in: Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Philip Rivers, Quarterbacks, Michael Vick

4Ron Hogsett
I agree, this year it seems likes QBs have been going earlier than years past. My strategy has been based on the league I'm drafting in(12man vs 10man, 4 point passer TD vs 6) and my draft position. In a 10 man with Yahoo! default, I can see QB's start going by the 2nd round. I personally like the idea of grabbing a QB early enough to snag a top 5 considering they are top "point-getters" season after season. If you are playing in a smart league, it’s plausible that the top 5 QBs could all be gone by the end of the 2nd round. Drafting a QB late would have to be determined by the quality of RB's you’ve taken in the first two picks and the quality of WR's available in your 3rd and 4th picks, and which QB may be available in the 5th and 6th rounds (typically those outside the top 10). I think waiting beyond the 4th round for a QB would be a mistake. In a 6 point passer TD league, I'd expect the top 10 QB's to be gone by the end of the 2nd round. QB's outside the top 10 have an EV that quickly drops, relative to expected point production. At the expense of a top running back, I'd prefer to see a more consistent QB in the early early rounds of the draft in this situation. So, to answer, I would say drafting first overall in a league with 4 point passer TD is too early, but not in a 6 point passer TD league.

What do you think of going WWQRRW @ 7 pos. in an 8 man league?
Asked in: Mike Williams (TB), Ahmad Bradshaw, Arian Foster, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Roddy White

4Matt Gregg
First and foremost, you should always draft for value ahead of position. That said, it's also good to pay attention to who's coming off the board by position, so keep a cheat sheet on hand. I agree w Anthony, you have to get a solid RB in the first two rounds in PPR--then shoot for the best available WR/RB in 3/4. I'd try and take a QB in the 5th since this is an 8 man league.

Who's ready for Gronk to blow the lid off the TE position this year?
Asked in: Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots, Tom Brady

1Jd Dre
I think it depends on who they are playing, NE always goes with who is open, and not who the receiver actually is.

Is Tom Brady the best QB in the NFL?
Asked in: Tom Brady, New England Patriots, Wes Welker

0Daniel Okopnyi
It's any given Sunday, though his record, team management and audible calling is impressive. I am curious to see what he does this year.

Is Green-Ellis worth keeping on my roster?
Asked in: BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Danny Woodhead, Tom Brady, New England Patriots

0Tim Harding
If your league is PPR then I would take Woodhead over Green-Ellis.

Who would you rather have? Brady at his age, or Rivers at his?
Asked in: Tom Brady, Philip Rivers, Quarterbacks

0David J
I would agree. The same could be said for Tony Romo as well as all other fantasy relevant players on the Cowboys. Kind of weird how that works out.

Trading away Tom Brady for RB/WR help
Asked in: Tom Brady, Matt Forte, Greg Jennings, Ray Rice, Tony Romo, Miles Austin, James Starks

2R J
Right, I wouldn't do this either. Brady might be on a high right now but NE is not going to run the football ever. He's got tons of weapons, I'd need to get something crazy like Jennings and Rice or Jennings and Brees.

Who is your upset special pick for this week?
Asked in: Tom Brady, Arian Foster, Chris Johnson

0Anthony Best
Have to say Brady since I have Foster on my team in the money league!!

I'm weak at WR (Welker, Harvin, N. Washington, Meachem) and have Brady and Roethlisberger. Should I look to trade Brady? (Non-ppr)
Asked in: Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, Ben Roethlisberger

2Robert James Smith
I would only trade Brady if you could get Calvin as there is such a huge drop off to Big Ben. You have the best WR as far as points in the league right now which helps make up for your lack of depth. Try and trade Big Ben coming off his 5 TD game with week for a WR2 type player

Trade Brady for Lesean McCoy or Forte?
Asked in: Tom Brady, Lesean McCoy, Matt Forte, Cam Newton

0Robert James Smith
I had Brees and Cam and I traded Brees away too. I would absolutely do this as Newtons bench points are helping you they are merely an insurance policy to Brady. In PPR Forte is doing a little better than McCoy and the other way around in standard leagues. Forte is the whole offense in Chicago and to competition still cant seem to stop him.

Should I trade Cam Newton for Tom Brady and Chris Johnson? I am last place in 8 team league. My RBs are Benson, DMurray, LBlount,Hillis and Battle. Is Chris Johnson worth the headache?
Asked in: Cam Newton, Tom Brady, Chris Johnson

0Naveen Tejwani
You can get a better offer for Cam; personally I wouldn't do it for Brady and CJ. However you will have to take a gamble like that to get back in the race and if you don't start winning now, it won't matter. Look for a little bit better situation in that 2-1 offer.

0Anthony Best
Johnson not worth it. Brady is worth it. In last place you have nothing to lose. But Keep in mind Cam puts up about 30 points a game. While in last few weeks Brady and CJ get close to that combined! I don't mind your Rb's. Maybe try and get a good WR out of this trade.

Need some help deciding on some players this week! play 1 QB, 3 WR's, 2 RB's, 1 TE and 1 Def!

brady or stafford?
Asked in: Tom Brady, Matthew Stafford

0Anthony Best
Toss up. I think Both will struggle! Both are away, but I like Stafford coming of the bye a little better

should I start Brady or Stafford at QB this week?
Asked in: Tom Brady, Matthew Stafford

0Anthony Best
I would actually sit a struggling Brady going against Phi at Phi. He will still get 15-10 points for you, but Stafford is facing a GB D that isn't good against the pass. Detroit also has no running game, just RB's that are short WR's so more upside for Stafford.

Tom Brady or Tony Romo for week 12? Normally would start Brady but he is @PHI while Romo is at home vs MIA. MIA has a recent jump in production but it has been against poor teams.
Asked in: Tom Brady, Tony Romo

0Anthony Best
I will say it's always hard to sit a good name. But I'm some one who will if they are not playing good. Look at Brady's last 5 weeks. in those weeks he has only played 1 good game. but not here with Romo. In my opinion Mia has been the best D over the last 4 weeks.

which qb to start?
Asked in: Tom Brady, Matthew Stafford

1Anthony Best
I still think Stafford at home is the better option. Brady is still struggling and pretty sure their center is still going to be the 3rd stringer cause of injuries.

I'm headed to the playoffs! Time to dump Rodgers? I'm thinking Brady, Murray, and Baltimore D for Rodgers, Turner, and Chicago D. Read the description
Asked in: Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers

1Keith Goldner
It's an idea, but I wouldn't. I would just stash an able backup who will be in a playoff race just in case. Chances are, Rodgers will still play a half (in which he can put up better fantasy numbers than most other QBs). If you do Brady/Brees, there's a chance they could be benched as well.
