Keith Kinkaid stepping in Friday for the Devils

New Jersey Devils goalie Keith Kinkaid has been confirmed as the starter for Friday's contest with the Montreal Canadiens.

What It Means:

Kinkaid gave up just one goal on 32 shot attempts in a win over the Calgary Flames a week ago in his last start. He's been solid this season, going 5-4-2 with a .921 save percentage and 2.59 goals-against average. The Canadiens boast the seventh-best scoring attack in the NHL (3.00 goals per game), so Kinkaid will have his work cut out for him on Friday night.

The Devils rank 26th in numberFire's NHL Team Power Rankings while Montreal is tied for sixth.
