Sidney Crosby scores, dishes out assist in Penguins' win
Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby scored a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Final.
What It Means:
Crosby picked up the primary assist on Phil Kessel's first period, power play goal. He then extended the Penguins' lead to 3-0 with his goal at the 19:34 mark of the second period. Crosby finished the game with four shots on goal, a plus-2 rating and two hits in 18:09 of ice time. The Pens' captain six goals and 15 points in 17 postseason games in 2016.
Crosby finished the regular season with 36 goals and 49 helpers. He recorded a 55.1 Corsi For Percentage and 2.4 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength, both of which were his worst marks since the 2010-'11 season.
