Bobby Ryan scores twice in Senators' overtime victory

Ottawa Senators forward Bobby Ryan scored the game-tying and game-winning goals and assisted on another to lead the Senators to a 3-2, come-from-behind, overtime triumph over the St. Louis Blues Monday night.

What It Means:

The Blues took a 2-0 lead in this one before Mike Hoffman scored his 19th goal of the season at 18:46 of the second period. Ryan picked up his 23rd assist of the season on Hoffman's goal. Erik Karlsson collected his 33rd assist of the season on the same goal. At 5:01 of the third period, Ryan tied the game at 2-2 on a power play with the 200th goal of his career. Kyle Turris drew his 16th assist on that goal. Then, at 2:33 of overtime, Ryan found the net again, notching the game winner and his 14th goal of the season. Assists on the overtime goal went to Mark Stone (22nd) and Chris Wideman (first).

Ryan loves playing against the Blues. He has 16 goals and 29 points in 23 games against St. Louis. For the year, Ryan has tallied 13 goals and 23 helpers in 39 games. His 45.1 Corsi For Percentage is the worst clip of his career, and the same can be said for his -3.9 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength. Our rest-of-season projections see him scoring 12 more goals with 22 more assists over the final 43 games.
