NHL Daily Fantasy Helper: Friday 12/8/17

We take a look at some goalies, high-priced skaters, and lower-priced players to target for Friday's slate.

A good chunk of you probably already play daily fantasy football, and I'd be willing to bet a significant portion have also tried out daily fantasy basketball and baseball. But hockey? Hockey?

It's time to give it a try over on FanDuel because it's a ton of fun. And our analysis and projections can help you win.

To help, let's take a look at some goalies, high-priced skaters, and lower-priced players to target for today's slate.

Goalies to Target

Pekka Rinne ($8,700): Rinne has not yet been confirmed as the starter as of writing this, but he likely will get the nod after Juuse Saros was between the pipes for the Nashville Predators last game. And Rinne has been a monster this season, winning 16-of-22 starts. Among all goalies with five or more starts this year, Rinne's 0.92 save percentage and 2.38 goals against average (GAA) both rank inside the top 10. He will also get a boost from a soft matchup tonight that leaves the Predators as the second-biggest favorites on the board, with a -166 money line.
