NHL Daily Fantasy Helper: Monday 10/23/17

Brent Burns' high floor is super appealing on tonight's two-game slate. Which other players are worth checking out?

A good chunk of you probably already play daily fantasy football, and I'd be willing to bet a significant portion have also tried out daily fantasy basketball and baseball. But hockey? Hockey?

It's time to give it a try over on FanDuel.com because it's a ton of fun. And our analysis and projections can help you win.

To help, let's take a look at some goalies, high-priced skaters, and lower-priced players to target for today's slate.

Goalie to Target

Henrik Lundqvist ($8,200): It's a tough night for goalies, as both games on this slate have an over/under of at least 5.5 goals and no team is better than a -139 favorite. Lundqvist does have an edge in that his opponent, the San Jose Sharks, will be playing their third road game in the last four days, while the New York Rangers are home for the fifth game in a row. Our models give the Rangers the highest win probability among the four teams in action tonight, and Lundqvist is the cheapest of the four projected starters. With no easy goalie decisions tonight, take the cost savings and use that extra salary on some of the high-scoring skaters available on this short slate.
