NHL Daily Fantasy Helper: Thursday 11/3/16

Brent Burns is in a great spot tonight against the Calgary Flames. Who else should you target?

A good chunk of you probably already play daily fantasy football, and I'd be willing to bet a significant portion have also tried out daily fantasy basketball and baseball. But hockey? Hockey?

It's time to give it a try over on FanDuel.com, because it's a ton of fun. And our analysis and projections can help you win.

To help, take a look at some goalies, high-priced skaters, and lower-priced players to target for today's slate.

Goalies to Target

Braden Holtby ($9,600): If you played yesterday's short slate, Holtby tonight is a lot like Carey Price was last night. You have to pay way up for him, but you're also not going to find a safer goalie option on the slate. The Washington Capitals are the biggest favorites of the day at -225 on the moneyline, and the Winnipeg Jets' 1.95 implied total is the lowest on the slate. The Capitals have allowed the league's second-fewest Corsi Against per game this season while they rank fifth in Corsi For Percentage. They will likely dominate the puck tonight, and while that gives them the great odds of scoring a win (we project Holtby an 82% chance of picking up a win), it also limits Holtby's upside a little bit as he won't likely face a ton of shots.
