Seahawks' Chris Carson touchless after half, 'gassed' from special teams

Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson rushed 6 times for 24 yards and was targeted once in a 24-17, Week 2 loss to the Chicago Bears on Monday night.

What It Means:

Carson oddly didn't see a single touch after halftime, as the Seahawks opted to go with a combination of first-rounder Rashaad Penny and Mike Davis instead. Head coach Pete Carroll says Carson was "gassed" from special teams and the coaching staff wanted to see what Penny could do with a larger workload. The Seahawks and their miserable offense will look to get things going Week 3 when they host the Dallas Cowboys.

Carson scored 2.4 FanDuel points in Week 2, bringing his average to 4.9 FanDuel points per game. The second-year back is the RB45 in numberFire's Week 3 fantasy rankings and comes with a $6,400 price tag on FanDuel.
