Cam Newton tops 300 yards but Panthers fall to Falcons in Week 2
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton threw for 335 yards and 3 touchdowns in Week 2's loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
Newton completed 32-of-45 passes while rushing for 42 yards on Sunday. He connected with Jarius Wright, D.J. Moore, and Torrey Smith on his touchdowns but had a costly interception midway through the four quarter. Newton and the Panthers face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3 next Sunday.
