Panthers' Greg Olsen re-fractured right foot
Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen re-fractured his surgically-repaired right foot Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys.
"There are no plans for surgery at this time," the Panthers said in a statement. "We will monitor his rehab and evaluate his progress on a monthly basis." Olsen is expected to miss a "significant chunk of time," according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. Fourth-round rookie Ian Thomas is expected to take over as the starting tight end against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2.
Olsen scored 4.3 FanDuel points in Week 1, with 33 yards on 2 catches and 2 targets.
