Panthers' left tackle Matt Kalil has knee scoped, 'week-to-week'
Carolina Panthers left tackle Matt Kalil (knee) is considered "week-to-week" after having his knee scoped Tuesday.
Kalil notably had both of his knees scoped in 2015. The Panthers already lost right tackle Daryl Williams to a dislocated kneecap and torn MCL, and guard Andrew Norwell left in free agency, so this is another tough blow to an offensive line tasked with creating holes for Christian McCaffrey and protecting the pocket for Cam Newton this season.
McCaffrey is currently the RB14 and Newton is the QB6 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings.
