Dalvin Cook could split Vikings' rushing load with Latavius Murray

According to Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Minnesota Vikings running backs Dalvin Cook and Latavius Murray could "split a good bit of the rushing load" this season.

What It Means:

The Vikings' coaching staff has said it's too early to think about the workload split but insists Cook and Murray will both be factors in the offense this season. With Cook coming off a torn ACL, it would make sense for Minnesota to play it safe with his workload to start the year. The presence of Murray limits the ceiling of Cook in fantasy this year, leaving him as a borderline RB1.

Our models project Murray as the 12th-best back in fantasy with 1,117.1 rushing yards, 309.6 receiving yards and 9.1 touchdowns on 300.1 touches in 2018.
