Chris Carson in 'bellcow' role for Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson is playing a "bellcow" role, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
What It Means:
Rashaad Penny could potentially miss the beginning of the season with a broken finger, so Carson will have an opportunity to create even more separation at the top of the depth chart over the next few weeks.
Carson is currently the 29th running back in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models project him to rush 109.4 times for 397.8 times for 3.62 touchdowns, and catch 49.3 passes for 458.5 yards and 2.76 touchdowns this season.
