Nyheim Hines used out of slot by Colts

Indianapolis Colts rookie running back Nyheim Hines continues to be used out of the slot in training camp, the Indianapolis Star reports.

What It Means:

Per reporter Stephen Holder, Hines has also frequently been sent in motion, meaning the Colts are likely to use him as a matchup receiver often. Hines saw a lot of time in the slot at North Carolina State. The 104th overall pick is putting himself in excellent position to seize third-down reps in the Colts' up for grabs backfield.

Our models project Hines for 298 rushing yards and 1.8 touchdowns on 77 carries, adding 41 receptions for 322 yards and 1.7 touchdowns. He's our 47th-best back for fantasy football and second-best in the Colts' backfield.
