Patriots reportedly add Eric Decker to offense
The New England Patriots signed wide receiver Eric Decker, formerly of the Tennessee Titans, to a one-year contract, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
This was expected after Jordan Matthews was placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. Decker will carry some additional value in Weeks 1-4 while Julian Edelman serves his suspension. He turned 31 earlier this offseason.
Decker caught 54 passes (83 targets) for 563 yards and 1 touchdown for the Titans in 2017.
