Texans' Deshaun Watson (knee) will avoid PUP to start camp
Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson (knee) avoided the PUP list.
Watson's training camp status was never in doubt. Instead, the question will be he has lost any explosiveness after suffering his second ACL tear in four years. If the second-year rising star is able to return to his pre-injury form, he'll be a top-tier fantasy and NFL quarterback.
Our models project Watson for 3,846 passing yards, 30.6 touchdowns, and 14.2 interceptions on 540 attempts this season. He should also add 373 rushing yards and 3.6 touchdowns on 62 attempts.
