Raiders' Martavis Bryant reportedly hasn't been informed of suspension
Oakland Raiders wide receiver Martavis Bryant, as of Wednesday, had not been notified of a pending suspension, reports Vic Tafur of The Athletic.
According to Tafur, Bryant "is clean and hasn’t missed a test," which contradicts last week's report from the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Michael Gehlken, who said the 26-year-old wideout was facing imminent discipline from the league. Tafur added that he heard a similar report regarding Bryant earlier this year and that nothing ever came of it, although those could be two separate incidents. Bryant missed the entire 2016 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers because of substance-abuse violations.
As of now, numberFire's models project Bryant to play 16 games and catch 42.2 passes (74.5 targets) for 562.6 yards and 3.07 touchdowns next season.
