Dallas Goedert could feature in red-zone immediately for Eagles
Philadelphia Eagles rookie tight end Dallas Goedert should be an immediate red-zone threat, the Philadelphia Inquirer expects.
With Trey Burton gone, second-round pick Goedert is expected to step right into the number-two tight end role. Despite clearly being behind Zach Ertz, there's talk Goedert could get some slot snaps in three-wide sets, but he could also lose early-down work due to his lack of college experience blocking.
Our models project Goedert for 228 receiving yards and 2.2 touchdowns on 21 catches in his rookie year. This is the 37th-best fantasy projection for a tight end.
