Robert Turbin

Robert Turbin expected to have key role in Colts' backfield

Indianapolis Colts running back Robert Turbin will have an "important place" in the offense, believes Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star.

What It Means:

"If there’s one thing this offseason has shown, it’s that Turbin seems to have an important place on this football team," writes Holder. Turbin was also praised by new Colts head coach Frank Reich, so it seems like the 28-year-old has secured a place in the team's backfield committee. Marlon Mack and rookies Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins are also expected to be involved.

numberFire's early models don't expect much from Turbin in 2018, as we have him pegged for only 166.8 yards and 0.94 touchdowns on 30.7 touches (9.8 catches).
