Browns expected to use Jarvis Landry more down the field

BrownsZone's Scott Petrak believes Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry will be used down the field more often this season than he was with the Miami Dolphins.

What It Means:

Landry's average route run in his career has been around eight yards, but Petrak believes the Browns would not have signed him to a contract with $47M guaranteed to keep him as strictly a slot receiver. Landry has said he knows he can be a more dynamic receiver but felt limited by the routes given him in Miami. If he is used as an outside receiver more, expect fewer targets and receptions but a higher volume of yards fo Landry in Cleveland.

Our models project Landry for 95.0 catches, 949.9 yards, and 5.2 touchdowns in 2018.
