Jaguars want to use Corey Grant more in 2018

Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett told reporters running back Corey Grant is "a guy we've got to get out there more" on offense in 2018.

What It Means:

Hackett described Grant as a "major change-of-pace back" that can catch the ball from the backfield. It may just be coach speak but it appears the fourth-year back will see an uptick in touches in 2018 and could replace T.J. Yeldon as the handcuff to Leonard Fournette. Grant rushed 30 times for 248 yards and 2 touchdowns in a limited role in 2017.

numberFire's algorithms project Grant for 229.6 total yards on 35.9 touches in 2018, but those numbers would rise if he moves up on the depth chart.
