Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger expects to play 3-to-5 more years
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger says he feels like he can play three-to-five more seasons in the NFL.
After spending the 76th overall pick on Oklahoma State Cowboys quarterback Mason Rudolph, many wondered if the Steelers had found their future franchise quarterback. The 36-year-old Roethlisberger said he plans to play as long as he is healthy, which he expects to be at least another three seasons. Roethlisberger has two more seasons left on his contract, and it is unknown if Pittsburgh will pursue an extension.
Roethlisberger threw for 4,251 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions on 561 pass attempts in 2017.
