Cleveland Browns take CB Denzel Ward with the fourth pick in the NFL Draft
The Cleveland Browns have taken Ohio State cornerback Denzel Ward with the fourth pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
While this fills a need for Cleveland, it is a somewhat shocking pick as many were expecting the Browns to take DE Bradley Chubb.
Ward ran a 4.32 40-yard dash at the combine, but at only 5' 10", he could struggle against bigger NFL receivers. He's a major upgrade to a secondary that was, by our metrics, ranked fifth-worst against the pass in 2017.
