Dwayne Bowe entrenched as Browns' No. 5 wide receiver
Cleveland Browns head coach Mike Pettine admitted he's not high on wide receiver Dwayne Bowe contributing anytime soon with the Browns' top four receivers already set.
The Browns' $9 million they spent on Bowe is clearly money well-spent. When he has been active, Bowe has seen a grand total of two targets this year, putting him 12th on the team in the category.
The Browns' passing offense has been surprisingly efficient this season. They rank eighth in Adjusted Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play with wide receiver Travis Benjamin also ranking eighth individually in Reception NEP per target. They're operating fine without Bowe right now, so there appears to be no reason to change his status.
