Patriots' Rob Gronkowski will not attend start of Patriots' offseason program
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will not attend the start of the team's offseason program, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Gronkowski joins teammate Tom Brady, who will also sit out the beginning of the offseason due to a business trip overseas. Gronk is still considering whether to play in 2018, but he has reportedly had "good communication" with the team. Earlier reports suggested that he will likely return and, in doing so, put any friction to bed between the and the team.
In 2017, Gronkowski tallied 69 catches, 1,084 yards and 8 touchdowns in 14 games. He's posted at least 1,000 yards and 8 scores in three of the last four seasons.
