Brandon Marshall

Giants are non-committal on Brandon Marshall

New York Giants head coach Pat Shurmur was non-committal on wide receiver Brandon Marshall's (ankle) future with the team.

What It Means:

Marshall has a $5.16 million cap hit for the 2018 season, and he has yet to pass a physical after offseason ankle surgery. It's possible the Giants cut him to save the cap space and give more looks to guys like Evan Engram and Sterling Shepard.

In 2017 Marshall appeared in 5 games, totaling 154 yards on 18-of-33 targets with no touchdowns.
