Falcons anticipate Julio Jones will play Thursday
Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said he "anticipates" wide receiver Julio Jones (hamstring) will play Thursday against the New Orleans Saints.
Jones was also questionable prior to the team's Week 5 contest, but he still ended up playing 73 of the team's 80 offensive snaps. At the same time, previous reports were that Jones' status was more in question. Monitor Jones throughout the short week closely.
If Jones plays, he could be set for a big game. The Saints rank 31st in Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play. Despite two "down" weeks (by his lofty standards), Jones still sits second in Reception NEP at 49.92. The injury is certainly concerning, but if Jones is able to play, you must start him in season-long leagues.
