Rapoport: Vikings acquire Trevor Siemian from Broncos to be Kirk Cousins' backup
The Minnesota Vikings acquired quarterback Trevor Siemian from the Denver Broncos, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Siemian is a former seventh-round pick that has managed to start 24 games during his three years in the NFL. He will play backup to Kirk Cousins in Minnesota.
Siemian averaged 12.7 FanDuel points in 11 games (10 starts) last season, while completing 206-of-349 passes (59.0 percent) for 2,285 passing yards with 12 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He also accounted for 127 rushing yards and a score on the ground.
