Jets reportedly also sign Teddy Bridgewater to 1-year deal
The New York Jets and quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, formerly of the Minnesota Vikings, agreed to terms on a 1-year contract, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The Jets also reportedly re-signed Josh McCown to a 1-year, $10 million contract and told him he would start, but odds are Bridgewater will wind up running the show at some point next season. He's basically missed the past two seasons while recovering from a brutal knee injury.
When Bridgewater last played a full season in 2015, he completed 65.3 percent of his passes for 3,231 passing yards with 14 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. He added 192 rushing yards and 3 scores on the ground.
