Allen Robinson reportedly told by Jaguars he won't be tagged
The Jacksonville Jaguars have informed impending free agent Allen Robinson they will not tag him, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The Jaguars won the AFC South and fell just a game short of the Super Bowl while Robinson was sidelined with a torn ACL all season, but he's still just 24 and only two seasons removed from tying for the league lead in touchdown receptions. The Washington Redskins and Chicago Bears are both expected to pursue Robinson on the open market.
In his two healthy seasons (2015-2016), Robinson hauled in a total of 153 catches (302 targets) for 2,283 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns for the Jaguars.
