Le'Veon Bell fully expected to be franchise tagged by Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers are fully expected to use the franchise tag on running back Le'Veon Bell, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
What It Means:
The deadline for the Steelers to use the tag is March 6th, less than three weeks from now. Tagging Bell would allow the teams to continue to discuss a deal, though, so it might be best for all parties involved.
On 406 touches, Bell totaled 1,946 yards and 11 touchdowns in the 2017 season.
