Tom Brady and Bill Belichick expected to return to Patriots in 2018
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick are both expected to return for the 2018 season, ESPN's Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter report.
There's been speculation that Sunday could be Brady and Belichick's last hurrah, especially following reports of tension within the organization. However, it appears both will be back in Foxboro for at least one more run. Brady has also been pressured by his wife to stop playing, but after winning his third MVP award in 2017, the 40-year-old seems uninterested in walking away any time soon.
Brady completed 66.3% of his passes, notching a league-leading 4,577 yards to go with 32 touchdowns and only 8 interceptions. His 0.28 Passing Net Expected Points per dropback was tops among quarterbacks who dropped back at least 200 times this season.
