Cleveland Browns hire Todd Haley as new offensive coordinator
The Cleveland Browns have hired former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley to the same position on their team, per Michael Silver Sports Illustrated.
What It Means:
Haley spent the last six season with Pittsburgh but had his contract not renewed after reported disagreements with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. He takes over Browns' play-calling duties from head coach Hue Jackson, who has been in charge of the offense the last two seasons.
The Browns finished the season 0-16 while scoring just 14.6 points per game, the worst mark in the league.
