Titans hire Mike Vrabel as head coach
The Tennessee Titans hired ex-Houston Texans defensive coordinator Mike Vrabel as head coach.
After retiring from the NFL in 2010, Vrabel spent three years on Ohio State's staff before joining the pro ranks as the Texans' linebackers coach from 2014-16 and then taking over the defense in 2017. His unit gave up the most points per game this past season (27.2), although injuries likely played a large role in their performance. Tennessee has enough talent to win their division but they will only go as far as Marcus Mariota takes them.
The Titans finished 22nd in numberFire's NFL Team Power Rankings this season.
