Russell Wilson throws for 287 yards, touchdown in Seattle victory
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson completed 20-of-26 passes for 287 yards and one touchdown in the Seahawks' 13-10, Week 4 win over the Detroit Lions on Monday night.
He added 40 rushing yards on 10 attempts, but Wilson also lost two fumbles, one of which was returned for a touchdown to make it 13-10 in the fourth quarter. Wilson was sacked six times and left the pocket a number of times, trying to create plays with his feet. The scoring strike was a 24-yard touchdown pass to Doug Baldwin.
With his arm, Wilson added a meager 1.08 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP), and he finished with -1.26 Rushing NEP thanks to the two fumbles. With a quarter of the season in the books, Wilson is on pace 708 rushing yards -- not far off his remarkable 2014 campaign. He's only accounted for five touchdowns through four contests. Seattle will hit the road to face the unbeaten Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5.
