Report: Dolphins' Jarvis Landry wants 'contract in the range' of Packers' Davante Adams

Miami Dolphins wide receiver and free agent Jarvis Landry is reportedly seeking a contract similar to that of Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams.

What It Means:

Prior to the end of the 2017 season, the 25-year-old Adams signed a four-year deal worth $58 million and containing $18 million in guaranteed money. The deal has made Adams the league's fourth-highest-paid receiver and Landry wants to enter that range himself. Landry is also 25 and, to this point, has felt "disrespected" by the Dolphins' negotiations.

Having played in all 16 games, Landry ended the year with 112 catches, 987 yards and 9 touchdowns. However, his 70.03 Net Expected Points fell far short of Adams' own mark of 92.42 in 2 fewer games.
