Drew Brees expects to re-sign with Saints
New Orleans Saints impending free agent quarterback Drew Brees expects to re-sign with the team.
Brees declared that he not only intends to remain with the Saints moving forward, but he believes the team is entering "a window of time here where we can really make a run at it." Despite celebrating his 39th birthday on Monday, the veteran quarterback showed he has plenty left in the tank this season while leading an offense that evolved into one of the league's most well-balanced attacks.
Brees averaged 17.5 FanDuel points in 16 games this season, with 4,334 passing yards, 23 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions while leading the NFL with a career-high 72.0 completion percentage.
