Browns deactivate top cornerback Joe Haden

Cleveland Browns' shutdown cornerback Joe Haden is inactive for Week 4 against the San Diego Chargers.

What It Means:

This doesn't bode well for the Browns' chances at stopping quarterback Philip Rivers and the San Diego passing game. This should be a big boost to wide receiver Keenan Allen's potential, who was likely to have drawn the attention of Haden on the day.

Our algorithms project Allen to finish the day with 11 catches for 66 yards and a good potential for a touchdown. This might actually be closer to his floor with the deactivation of Haden.
