Report: Bills' LeSean McCoy could miss 3-4 weeks

FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo reports Buffalo Bills' running back LeSean McCoy (hamstring) could miss as many as 3-4 weeks.

What It Means:

This is a huge blow to the Bills, who were rolling on offense with Tyrod Taylor at the helm and a dominant defense locking down the opposition. Shady is nowhere near the vintage version of himself, as he has just 50 touches for 229 combined yards and only one score. Still, he provides a pass-catching element that the other Bills' backs do not. Anthony Dixon should fill the role on Sunday, but Karlos Williams will be the primary carrying back.

Karlos Williams ranks by far the highest in per-play Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) among running backs with 12 touches or more this season. He's also the clear leader in Rushing NEP. He'll hope to approximate McCoy well in his stead. We project him as a top-10 fantasy back this week, with 12 carries for 54 yards and a good chance to score, as well as four catches for 33 yards. He's a go in all lineups.
